Application Instructions
Robins AFB encourages disabled
applicants to apply for positions for which they qualify. Disabled
applications must meet the qualification for any position for which they
are applying, including any physical requirements (subject to a physical
examination). Applicants may apply for positions in two ways:

Apply under the
normal competitive procedures just like all other applicants.

Employment office, by calling our automated system at 926-0666, or
by logging on to the official website at

Apply under
non-competitive procedures under the Program for People with
Disabilities.

A physical
or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more
major activities.

A record of
such an impairment

The
applicant is regarded as having such an impairment by the
employing agency
-
State
Department of Vocational Rehabilitation
-
Department
of Veteran’s Affairs
-
Licensed
medical professional (e.g., a physician or other medical
professional duly certified by a State, the District of
Columbia, or a U.S. territory, to practice medicine)
-
Licensed
vocational rehabilitation specialist (i.e., State or
private)
-
Any Federal
agency, State agency, or agency of the District of Columbia
or a U.S. territory that issues or provides disability
benefits
Referral under this
program does not guarantee employment. Applicants will be referred for
positions for which qualified to be considered along with other
qualified applicants.
